A North Muskegon native, Dr. Nate also knew that he wanted to begin his Chiropractic profession in his hometown area where he might be able to network with, and learn from, well-established Chiropractic professionals while simultaneously sharing his art with the community that he so loves. While still immersed in his studies at Life U, Dr. Nate researched local Chiropractic offices and found only one that actually offered cranial adjustments; Beacom Family Chiropractic. Something about the BFC website resonated with him and Dr. Nate felt compelled to contact the doctors to learn more about their practice. Dr. Helena invited Dr. Nate to study under her mentor, Dr. Roger Turner, DC, to further his understanding of cranial adjusting. With a hunger to learn more, even in the midst of final exams, Dr. Nate traveled with peers to attend Dr. Turner’s seminar. Impressed with Dr. Brent and Dr. Helena's willingness to share their knowledge and expertise, Dr. Nate took the opportunity to intern at BFC near the end of his schooling. This allowed him to learn even more about the multitude of dynamics involved in operating a full-fledged Chiropractic practice. He observed and studied under both doctors for several months prior to his graduation, establishing himself as a well-loved member of the team. Dr. Nate officially joined Beacom Family Chiropractic in August of 2018 as an Associate Doctor. Incorporating cranial adjustments into his practice here at BFC has already shown to be rewarding for our practice members. For being a young doctor, Dr. Nate is a wiz with adjusting extremities and a quick learner of Cranial Adjusting Turner Style. Dr. Nate’s knowledge, compassion, smile and laughter aids in our practice members’ healing here at BFC. He has a genuine love for his art and a passion for helping people reach their wellness goals. We are truly honored to have him as part of our family.

Esoteric Healing is a form of energy work used to treat the body's energy fields. Illness, which is an indication that we are out of balance, first appears as a block in our energy field. If left unattended over time, it shows up in our physical body. For example, the root of a physical problem may be an emotional trauma from childhood which, over time, has presented itself as a physical problem. Through energy work, the emotional block can be removed, which allows the physical pain or problem to resolve. Jen uses various balancing techniques to remove energy blocks and create a more flowing and healthy state. If we keep our energy fully vitalized and clear of blocks, we stay healthier. Esoteric healing is a perfect adjunct to your Chiropractic care. Most physical, emotional, and mental conditions can benefit from Esoteric Healing. These include back/neck pain, extremity pain, Fibromyalgia, emotional traumas, ADHD, PTSD, developmental delays, cardio-pulminary, gastrointestinal, depression, bipolar disorder, amputee phantom pain, headaches, and numerous other conditions. Jen has a special interest in neurologic disorders such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Autism, brain injury, stroke, dementia/Alzheimer's, spinal cord injury, and ALS. Jen recently completed a case report studying the effectiveness of Esoteric Healing for Parkinson's disease. Overall, her client made significant subjective and objective improvements following five weeks of Esoteric Healing treatment. She was more functional, energetic, and motivated to do the things she loved. Objective tests revealed increased confidence with many functional tasks and increased speed of movement. She also reduced her use of meds by 1-2 doses per day (most often eliminated 2 doses). She was very pleased with her progress. The Doctors' son Miles started walking at 22 months old due to Cranial Adjustments by Dr. Roger Turner in Canada. However, both Doctors realized their son still had coordination challenges. Miles was still not moving like a little boy should at his age. Miles was not a risk taker. In fact, he would rather have help than do things himself. Dr. Helena heard about Jen Wolffis, and spoke with several people that were driving to Grand Haven to see her for energy work. Dr. Brent brought Miles to see Jen for three consecutive visits. On the fourth visit, Dr. Helena met Jen for the first time, and watched Miles throughout the hour session. Suddenly, Miles stood up, looked at the stairs, and started climbing up and down; something he never did before on his own! Miles started really improving with his leg movements and his courage with trying new things. Dr. Helena decided that other parents could utilize Jen's services, so Jen was invited to be a part of the BFC team.
