Meet the Doctor

Dr. Brent Beacom has been helping people live healthy lives since 2000 in his clinic in Whitehall, MI.  As a chiropractor with 10+ years experience he is committed to promoting true health and living a life drug free.  Dr. Brent's practice members consist of "children" of all ages.  He performs a New Patient Orientation on Tuesday nights so all new and perspective patients learn more about what chiropractic is, what it isn't, how our office runs, our resonsiblities as your Chiropractic office as well as your responsibilities as a practice member.  Well informed patients make better decisions when it comes to their family's health.  Education is key in our office and we pride ourselves on sharing health and chiropractic with all of our practice members, especially when it comes to the necessity of having pregnant moms, new borns and children under chiropractic care.
Dr. Helena Beacom has been a licensed Chiropractor since March 2002.  She sold her practice in Illinois to join Dr. Brent in Whitehall in 2006.  Together they promote a family wellness practice.  Their focus is not only to get sick people well but to keep well people well.  Both Doctors are a part of New Renaissance Chiropractors that support the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in eastern Montana.  By bringing Chiropractic to the reservation, native children will experience greater health and a better quality of life (just like our families do here at home!).  Each Christmas our practice members help us to raise gifts to send to the children on the reservation.  Our office as well as 80+ other Chiropractic offices are a part of this world project and we truly believe that "Healthier People create a Healthier Planet."

Education

  • Both Doctors graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA
  • Dr. Brent graduated from Alma College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Health Science
  • Dr. Helena graduated from the State University of NY at Geneseo in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology

Meet Sindy Horn.  She joined Beacom Family Chiropractic in 2007.  Her smile and sense of humor sets practice members at ease.  She has a great knowledge of insurance.  Sindy can help with office accounts as well as getting you and your family scheduled and acclimated into our office family.

Meet Deb Fick.  Deb joined Beacom Family Chiropractic in 2005 and loves being a part of our team.  Deb is great with the kids and loves taking care of our youngest practice members while they are here with their family getting adjusted.  She can help get you and your family started under chiropractic care.

Meet Nedra Ayer-Scholl, NCTMB, Certified Massage Therapist.  Nedra has been a massage therapist for 11 years and has worked at BFC since 2005.  Nedra also teaches at Baker College.  She specializes in pregnancy massage, sports massage, energy massage and hot stone massage.
